THE BEST AND THE EASIEST LEMON PIE RECIPE EVER!

And that’s saying a lot. I have never seen an easier, nor have I tasted a better lemon pie. It 9the filling) only has three ingredients! Only three! Do you remember the post about the chocolate cake/sauce? Ha, ha, no, no, I know what you might be thinking. Another dessert recipe! Is this Manor House blogger person going to be blogging about food all the time? Keep in mind, reader, that this lemon pie recipe calls…for…WHIPPED CREAM!

You might have had some whipped cream left over from the chocolate cake/sauce recipe. If so, there are more resourceful ways of finishing that small portion of whipped cream, than by letting everyone take a spoon to the container, and “divvying” up the whipped cream to eat. (Although sometimes dire situations call for dire solutions!) And not only that, but this quick and affordable pie only takes a few minutes, but can very well pass as a holiday dessert with absolutely zero complaints!

Here is the link to the recipe, and the recipe here is the exact same thing.

LEMON PIE (aka the best and the easiest lemon pie recipe ever!)

Original recipe makes one 9″ pie

Ingredients

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

1/2 cup lemon juice

1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

1 (9 inch) prepared graham cracker crust

Directions

In a bowl, combine milk and lemon juice; mix until smooth (mixture will begin to thicken). Fold in whipped topping; spoon into crust. Chill until ready to serve.

That’s it. That’s it. And in case you’re still awe-stuck…that’s IT! Yes. It can be scary. The first time I was making this, I had to read the recipe several times before this thought occurred to me: that’s all, you’re done! It was scary. But once the cook tastes the filling, all doubts and fears disappear.

And then you just pop it in the fridge, and eat it whenever you want! That’s so easy, it’s almost wrong! i HOPE YOU MAKE THIS SOMETIME!! (Note how good the pie was: last picture, half of it’s gone! Ha ha!)

Last time we made it, we used some of our own, fresh grown “lemons.” The kind of lemon plant is a Ponderosa Lemon. Pictures are below.

It had the most refreshing, light and airy taste. It was sweet and tangy. It was PERFECT!
